Nazareth

AGAIN - NOTHING LIKE I IMAGINED. IT IS OBVIOUSLY CHANGED WITH THE TIMES AS EVERYWHERE ELSE. NOW IT IS A PLACE WHERE MOST TOURIST DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MUCH TIME. THE ROADS ARE HECTIC. CAR TRAVEL IS INSANE. SHOPS ARE TINY. THE BEST THING ABOUT VISITING NAZARETH IS GETTING OUT OF THERE!!!

Jesus said; "Take the boat out."

It's not possible here in Ashqelon to not look at the sea all day. I find myself gazing at the glistening water and the waves hitting the shore. Love to watch the boaters and imagine how totally fun that would be to go out on a boat on the Mediterranean!

As I was walking on the pier, a couple guys heading out on their boat motioned for me to join them. Tempting. Surprising really how tempting that was. But I do really love boating! No way I'd go out without Steve. Maybe I'll get him out there walking with me and we'll both be invited. :-)

Later on the pier, a pretty multicolor cat came up to me and meowed and let me pet it. Poor thing really needs a bath! Then it would so beautiful! It followed me quite a while as I walked away.  I just may go back daily to see these cats. I can talk with them just as easily as with most of the people around here!
